Different countries have their own different traditional Christmas dishes, for example, people in Brazil enjoy eating roasted pork and far of a during their Christmas dinner whereas dishes such as Christmas pudding, gingerbread man and houses, doughnuts, and cranberry sauce are the main items accompanied by a mouth-watering roasted turkey during a dinner in Canada. Christmas is highly popular amongst the children; this is the time, when they receive charming presents from the adults of the families. Santa Clause is one of the notable Christmas figure; it’s believed by the children that if they behave like good kids all year, then they’d be receiving gifts by the Santa Clause on Christmas. In some countries, Santa Clauses do visit houses and give gifts to the children. Christmas also famous because of the sweets, chocolates and candy canes; these are symbolic Christmas treats and are highly appreciated by small children. Many TV channels broadcast Christmas themed programs such as cartoons, musicals and movies, exclusively for the occasion.
People do a lot for their loved ones at this time of the year; many spend the day by visiting their old relatives and parents, whereas most of the people prefer spending Christmas at home with their family. People usually send flowers as gifts during Christmas; most of the people prefer gifting valuable items such as gold rings and necklaces.
